| Tamagotchi v4 |
I picked one up at walmart today. So far its definately better than the v3 but i have yet to test out the connecting since i only have one at the moment. Its red with origami cranes and katakana on it. its very kawaii ^_^

| Rosetta Stone language program |
I found out about this program called 'Rosetta Stone' (ha! clever) that comes in 28 different languages for learning. I searched and found the japanese version levels 1 and 2 on mininova! So i'm downloading them right now :) i'm pretty excited since i've read a lot of reviews and it seems its the best program out there for learning a new language. It costs 300$ plus tax and shipping on amazon.com. I almost choked when i saw that but luckily bittorrent is my friend lol.
Anyways once i give it a try i'll write more here about it ^_^

| A quick post on D.Gray Man and a new show ^.^ |
I'm up to episode 6 now in this show and i'm still not quite sure how i feel about it. The first episode i really enjoyed but now i'm feeling it's geared towards a way younger crowd. As in, i'd like it a lot better if i was 14 or 15 lol. Ah well, i'll keep watching it and hope it gets better, since i've already burned it to discs #_#
I've also just finished downloading and burning Gakuen Heaven. Apparently its an incredibly well done shonen-ai series. Thats boy on boy love in case you didnt know. There are 13 episodes and as soon as i start watching it i'll post about it here.
Anywho, the house isn't going to clean itself ^.^

| Happy Hustle High books 1 & 2 |
Very entertaining, very very cute. H3 is a shojo manga by Rie Takada. I say it's shojo because it says that on the book but its quite adult lol. Well may be late teens lol. The main character is Hanabi. A strong but very very kawaii girl. Definately moe!!
She falls for Yousaka, the vp of the student council. at first he seems like he hates her but then she finds out he's nervous around girls. she uses this to her advantage and practically stalks him. eventually she is nominated by her fellow students to become vp. she surfs against yousaka and wins the title. she almost drowns but he saves her and gives her her first kiss.

I swear this show keeps getting more and more awesome with every new episode. 6_6
Ok so this one starts out kind of gloomy considering the 6 otakus now have to attend the funeral of their savior, yui-san. Many people come to pay their respects including creepy corp guy @_@
After the funeral they are sitting in Akanechin (the maid cafe) and wondering what Akiba@deep should do next. Izumu shows them an AI program she and yui-san had put together and they ask it what they should do. The AI yui tells them that they have to come up with that themselves so they decide to make Akihabara@DEEP into a corporation. Akira takes the money from her fighting tournament in the last episode and rents a huge office space. They do a cleaning/fixing it up montage and then they all move in. There are figurines, wallscrolls, posters etc all over. it truly is an otaku paradise.
Shortly after opening they get their first client. A girl who loves to cosplay (mami) but is in danger of quitting because her name is being used to produce illegal spy-cam videos. The entire team dresses in cosplay (costumes made by Daruma-san of course) and goes to a cos-con to investigate. They discover that the culprit is none other than mami's cosplay partner Satsuki-san. She said she did it because she was jealous of being second all the time >_<
After solving the mystery the gang heads back to HQ to find the telephones all ringing off the hook. All the callers are people looking to have jobs done for them, some of them being quite strange and not at all something that Akiba@deep would do lol (like move a tree off the road or give a recipe lol) The last caller turns out to be a hang up that box thinks is a prank caller but its really the creepy corporate guy. The episode ends with a scene in his office. There are no words only him sitting there, twirling his chupa-chups lolli in his mouth. ^_^
Can't wait for the next one. ^_^

| Akihabara@DEEP eps 1&2 |
First off, all I have to say is WOW! At first glance, this series is about otakus, ok well duh, thats why i downloaded it. After watching the first 2 episodes i've decided its much more than that.
Mystery, suspense, thrills, comedy, MOE!! lolz!
The first episode introduces us to the initial 4 characters. Page (our narrator), Box, Taiko and Akira. They are all socially outcast otakus brought together by an online helper (Yui-san) They meet and form the team "akihabara@deep" to help Akiba (short for akihabara) become a better place. In this episode they fight the "otaku hunters". They are a gang sent out by the head of a corporation to beat up otakus and film it for his amusement. The scenes with the corporate guy are very vague at this point and i still have no clue who he is @_@
The second episode continues the story of our 4 heros with the addition of 2 more characters. Doruma the cosplay recluse turned wanderer and Izumu the 16 year old female programmer who quit high school on her first day because "the teachers were idiots". This episode focuses on the launch of Akira's official website which is built by the Akiba@deep team. Then the focus switches to her cat fighting. The team produces her entrance at the fight and in the end she wins the tournament and 2million yen. After the fight is over they are eating at the cafe that Akira works at and they get a call the Yui-san wants to meet them in person. They go to meet her and are standing on opposite sides of the street waving when Yui suddenly collapses. They rush to her and find self inflicted wounds on her arm, old and new.
There are a few appearances by the shady corporate guy in this one too and Akira mentions that she used to live in the building that is now his HQ.
I'm quite looking forward to more of this series ^_^ Nya~~
